Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains how JHC Property Services (“JHC,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website. It is provided as a clear, good-faith starting point and should be reviewed and tailored with appropriate legal guidance before launch.

Information we collect

We collect the following when you choose to provide it:

  • Contact & request details — your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, service requested, property type, pickup/property address or ZIP code, any destination address, preferred date or timeframe, and the job description and additional information you share through our quote and contact forms.
  • Photos you upload — images you voluntarily submit to help us understand the furniture, junk, rooms, or property involved in your request.
  • Basic technical information — standard server and log data (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the website, including for spam prevention and rate limiting.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request and prepare a quote.
  • To contact you using the method you selected.
  • To schedule and carry out the services you ask about.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded photos for advertising.

How your photos are handled

Photos you upload are transferred directly to a secure cloud storage service and are used only to understand and quote your job. Stored files use randomized, unguessable web addresses rather than being placed in a public, browsable folder.

To confirm before launch: Confirm your preferred photo retention period and deletion process (for example, deleting uploads a set number of days after a job is completed or declined), and whether stricter access controls or expiring links should be enabled on the storage provider.

Service providers we use

We rely on trusted third parties to run the website and process your request. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own terms and privacy policies:

  • Hosting & photo storage — our website host and cloud storage provider, which deliver the site and store uploaded photos.
  • Email delivery — an email service that delivers your form submissions to our business inbox.

Data retention

We keep request details and photos for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and provide our services, and as otherwise required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

To confirm before launch: Define the specific retention periods for form submissions and photos, and confirm they meet any obligations that apply to your business.

Cookies & analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics or similar tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them.

To confirm before launch: Update this section if any analytics, chat, or marketing tools are added.

Your choices & rights

You can contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request corrections, or to ask that we delete your request details and photos. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

To confirm before launch: Confirm which privacy laws apply to your business and customers (for example, state or regional regulations) and tailor this section accordingly with legal guidance.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information submitted through the website. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above.
